MENLO PARK, San Mateo County — November 4, 2026. Voters in Menlo Park are leaning against Measure P, a citizen initiative to amend the municipal code, in the available unofficial election figures.
Unofficial election results
NBC Bay Area lists 3,799 No votes (52.23%) and 3,474 Yes (47.77%); the No margin is 325 votes.
How to read the local vote
The ballot designation identifies a municipal code initiative, but that alone is not a full description of its provisions. The question is separate from Menlo Park’s District 2 council race, which earlier reporting put nine votes apart. Results remain uncertified.
Outstanding ballots and next update
The figures come from the NBC Bay Area results page published November 3 and updated November 4; they are a dated early reporting snapshot, not newly confirmed November 5 figures. San Mateo County reported an estimated 130,000 unprocessed ballots as of 4 p.m. November 4 and scheduled its next update before 4:30 p.m. November 5. Mail, provisional and conditional ballots remain to be processed. Results will not be certified until December 3.
